ADAMS, COULSON,
COUNTS, FULLER,
MEDLIN posted by Melody
Aslin on Friday, March 2, 2001
-
Hello - I am researching my grandmother's family. She was Minnie Elizabeth
COULSON ADAMS. Her mother was a MEDLIN and died when my grandmother was young.
Her father, Rach COULSON (He's listed as R.W. COULSON in Counts Family
Genealogy), then married Ada COUNTS. I have a magazine article which tells
about Content and shows a picture of my great-great grandparents, James and
Elmyra FULLER COULSON. He lived to be 110. I believe they are buried in
Ballinger. Rach is supposedly buried in the Counts Cemetery. The article
lists several families from Content and shows a picture of the old hotel.
If you could put me in touch with any Counts, Coulson's, or Fuller's who
happen to still be in that area, I would very much appreciate it. I believe
most of the MEDLIN's stayed in Tarrant County. Thank you for your time.

My husbands aunt Lillie HENRY became epilepic abt 1901 at age abt 14. She
was sent to a hospital somewhere around Ballinger in Runnels Co. She died
there abt 1906 or 1907. Does anyone know about a place that treated people
with this disorder? My father-in-law said he went out there many times to
visit her. Would there be a death certificate on file there? Any help would
appreciated. Regards, Nita Henry.

Searching for birth information on my father's mother. According to her obituary,
she was born in Winters, Runnels Co., Texas on 10 Jul 1906. She lived and
died in Oklahoma. Her name was Ima Pearl LONGMIRE. Her father's name was
James LONGMIRE and her mother was Effie CONDER. I have asked the look-up
volunteer for Runnels to look for her birth record and they responded that
they could not locate one. I have all of her other records and vitals, but
cannot seem to locate a birth record or certificate. I would greatly appreciate
any help in finding out where else to look for such a document. I am at a
huge brick wall on this ! Any ideas out there ?
