I am also looking for the URBANTKE branch of my family tree. My grandfather's name was Wilhelm Friedrich URBANTKE, and was born September 5, 1893 in Neisse, Germany. I am looking for information about his parents Wilhelm URANTKE and (Anna) Bertha PreiBner (Preissner). They migrated to the USA 1894 - 1897? I have found information about Great Aunt Margaret who lived in CT. That's the extent of my knowledge, so if you have any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Henry Isham HARMON died in Ballinger, Runnels County in 1919 at the home of his father-in-law E. W. BROWNRIGG. He had lived in Mills County where he obtained a Confederate Pension in 1902. He was listed as a farmer in Lamar Co Census in 1870 with wife Elizabeth, 25, born in MO; Mand P., 4; and Harriet A., 2. I need information on wife Elizabeth's maiden name.

A Charles R. SMITH (1871-1936) married to a Maggie (1879-1968) is buried at Evergreen Cemetary in Ballinger, Runnels Co, Tx. In the same plot is Mary Jane POLLARD (1850-1932, B F POLLARD (1848-1924) and Cora POLLARD (1894-1906). Does any one know what happed to Cora, she would be my Great Aunt.

I am looking for information on Benjamin H. TUCKER, Lonnie A. TUCKER, Mattie SIMMONS TUCKER. Lonnie and Benjamin are buried in Savannah, Ga at Hillcrest Cemetary.Benjamin was my great grandfather and his wife was Mary Cynthia WHITE TUCKER whom my sister and I are named after. Does anyone have any information on where Mary Cynthia WHITE TUCKER was from or any of her family? Does anyone know where Mattie SIMMONS TUCKER was from? It is believed that she died young. She was my real father's mother. At one time it was thought that she may have been from Hawkinsville, Ga and later moved to Savannah, Ga after marrying Lonnie Archie TUCKER. Lonnie was a street car conductor in Savannah and was killed in the line of duty by a streetcar before I was born in 1938. My father was a only child and then Lonnie remarried and had four (4) other children that resided in Savannah. The two half sister and brother can't recall where Mattie or Mary Cynthia WHITE was from. Mary Cynthia may have been from Hawkinsville also. Savannah, Ga is located in Chatham county, Georgia. Any information that anyone may have on the missing links will be greatly appreciated. I have heard that the surname SIMMONS may be of Indian Hertiage. It was with great interest that a couple of years ago I read that dentist may be able to tell if you are a descendant of Indian hertiage by examing the teeth (jaw) to see if a cusp was on the back jaw teeth. I have also been told by Native American's that the front teeth may roll somewhat or a little.. I don't know if this is true or not, but it is quite interesting. Has anyone heard of this before? I believe that my father's mother may have had Native American hertiage along the line. My grandfather's brother was also a medical doctor that at one time had a medical practice in the old Desoto Hotel in Savannah, Ga before moving to Tucson, Arizona and setting up his medical practice there. His wife was from Tenn and it is believe that he died in 1981 and is buried in Tenn somewhere. I don't know where he attended medical school.

I am looking for James William MORELAND and wife Belzora WILKINSON. Belzora is my gg aunt. She was b 14 May 1850 to Carolus and Sarah BOURNE WILKINSON from Owen County, Ky. Belzora and James married 15 Apr 1870 in Owen County, Ky and came to Runnels between 1880 and 1900. Are there any MORELAND descandents still in Runnels Co? Searching for date Nancy TUBBS CANTWELL died and where she is buried. Last record, I have of Nancy is the 1910 Runnels Co. TX census. She is 72 yrs old, enumerated in the Frank and Mary HEADIN family (southwest of Colorado River--around Rowena possibly). Nancy is my great grandmother, mother of my grandmother, Maggie CANTWELL WHEELER (married to Lander Cecil WHEELER) Maggie b. 1871, Mary b. 1881. Maggie died in 1921 and buried in Wingate Cemetery, Wingate TX. Nancy born 1838 to Pruel Benson TUBBS and Ann YARBOR in MS. Would like any info on Thomas CANTWELL born 1828 in TN. Thomas CANTWELL married Nancy Ann TUBBS in 1860 Lafayette Co. MS. Do not have record of Thomas CANTWELL after 1870 census in Lafayette Co. MS.

I am looking for more information on the James W. MACKEY family. I found them on the 1910 census. James or JW was born 2-7-1842 in VA and died 10-5-1925 in Runnels Co,Tx Norton Cemetery. He married Sophronia S. MCCAURY who was born in Tenn 9-5-1843 and died 2-1-1925 in Runnels Co., Tx Norton Cemetery. The census stated that she had given birth to 11 children 8 of which were living. I have 4 names of the 8. My great grandmother was Mary Lee MACKEY and she married Jacob STUBBLEFIELD late 1800 her first child was born in 1900. All of JW and Sophronia's children were born in GA. Mary Lee was born in Murray Co., GA on 12-29-1871 and died 1-19-1956 in Runnels Co., Tx. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
