Rosemary - I have just read your posting in the Runnels County query site
and am responding to you regarding the name of Agnes RATLIFF. Do you happen
to know any more about the grandparents of Amanda Jane COLLINS SOLSBERY and
in particular the RATLIFF's? The reason for my asking, is that I am researching
RATLIFF family lines who came to Williamson County, Texas(early 1850's) via
Crawford County, Arkansas, possibly Missouri before that, Illinois and back
into Virginia in the late 1700's. It is very possible that your Agnes RATLIFF
may be related to this family line. I would like to hear back from you on
this matter. You may contact me directly @ my e-mail address --
sleazyrider@juno.com. Thanks! Carla Woolley

Buelah MONTGOMERY Jessie MONTGOMERY (married a HAMBRICK) J. W. and Ida lived
in Crews from abt 1900 until 1918. He owned a General Store and was Postmaster
abt 1910-1915. In 1912, a Typhoid epidemic killed his mother, his first-born
son James Darius, and other family members. About that time he became a licensed
pharmacist (Druggist). In 1918 he moved his wife and children to Polytechnic,
Tarrant Co, now a part of Ft. Worth. I am in contact with a daughter of Ed
RAINWATER, but feel there are probably cousins remaining in Runnels Co. I
know I have MONTGOMERY relatives in the San Angelo area, but have not been
able to connect with them. Would love to hear from anyone with information,
memories, or connections to these families. Whatever happened to the HARDEGREE
