He was married to Sarah Jane HENDERSON, but I am not sure if her family lived in Runnels Co. I am descended from their oldest son, James Wilson RAINWATER, who had a general store in Crews before becoming a druggist and moving to Ft. Worth. PALMER and NORA SMITH and her spouse DABNER HARRIS. These four are also buried in the same cemetery in Wingate, Texas. Would like to know who their children are and their birth and death dates. Sep 1951 in Seagraves, Gaines Co., Texas; married Albanie Catherine BARTON, 10 Feb 1899 in Runnels Co., TX. His mother was Maggie (MILLER) WILSON and his father's name might have been CASS (or CASSIUS). I'd like to know his father's name and when the family moved to Runnels Co. Cass(?) died around 1882 when his 6-year-old son (Thomas Milton) picked up his father's rifle and it went off at point-blank range. Maggie remarried John D. MILLER (a cousin). COLLINS, LELA, PENDLETON, TURNER, YARBROUGH posted by Jeanette Martin on Monday, August 9, 1999: Lela PENDLETON b 1896 and Luther A. TURNER b 1894 were married in Winters, Runnels Co., TX abt 1910. He was 16, she was 14. Seeking parents and siblings of both. LELA had a sister, Marie PENDLETON b 1899, who married Walter YARBROUGH; a brother Elmer PENDLETON married _____; and a brother Russel PENDLETON married Oma COLLINS in 1923 in Greer Co, OK. There are possibly several more children. A possible name for Lela's father is V G PENDLETON, who later moved to Greer County and Comanche Co., OK. Thanks for your help.

BRADSHAW, BRAWLEY, DAY, MAYHEW, SNODGRASS, TUCKER posted by Sandra Wortham on Saturday, August 28, 1999: I have a great aunt Jeannie TUCKER we think lived in the Winters area until she died around 1958-1962? She reportedly lived to be about 108. I do not know her married name. She had siblings Carrie TUCKER BRADSHAW MAYHEW, Hattie TUCKER BRADSHAW, and Rob TUCKER as well as maybe more. Her siblings lived around Merkel, Taylor Co, TX. I would like to find info on any of these families. Also may have had lines of DAY, SNODGRASS, and/or BRAWLEY in this area as well in the early 1900's and late 1800's. Any assistance appreciated. Thank you, Sandra
