PROCTOR, WOODS posted by Kathryn Metcalf on Saturday, April 4, 1998: I am seeking information on great-greatgrandparents,Benjamin F. and Elizabeth Elinor (WOODS) PROCTOR.I believe that Benjamin was a doctor, who resided in Runnels Co., from about 1889 to his death in 1917. His wife then live there till her death in 1936 and lived with their son John C. PROCTOR. If anyone has any information on this family I would like to hear from you.


KOLB, ROSSON posted by Charles E. Carroll on Friday, April 10, 1998: Can someone inform me of the location of a cemetery located south of Abilene, called "Old Content". Reportedly the burial place for Sarah KOLB and possibly the Andrew Jackson ROSSON family. Sponsor Remarks: "Old Content Cemetery is now called Tokeen Cemetery, It is located on west of Texas Highway 382 about 2.5 miles north of the intersection of Tx Hwy 382 and Tx Hwy 1770. Sarah Kolb and A.J. Rosson are indeed buried there.

BUSBY, GRAY, PORCH, RAYFORD posted by Birda W. Pelton on Sunday, May 3, 1998: I am searching for records on Robert Almarine BUSBY. He delivered mail in the Tokeen area around 1907. Also any type of information on Rebecca J. (GRAY) BUSBY, his mother who lived with him and his wife Annie (RAYFORD) BUSBY and chldren Olga, Elijah, Aubrey and Clarence. Clarence was born near Tokeen in 1906. He died in 1908 and is buried in Counts Cemetery. Olga married "Walter" PORCH in April 1907 at Ballinger. A daughter (Minnie Mae) was born in 1908, a son Archie Lloyd in 1910.
