DAVIS posted by Eddie
Lynn Davis on Thursday, March 12, 1998

Can anyone out there tell me if the son that James and Martha DAVIS named
James also is James Edward DAVIS? I am desperately searching for this line.
My husband's family all named their sons James. That is a hard row to follow.
For there are so many James Davis' that I get lost. If you know this person
would you know the Middle initial? I have heard two but can't prove either.
Census just has James. The time frame I am looking at is James, who was married
to Martha, was b 1838, Martha was b 1844. Their son was born 1878. All help
would be appreciated. Thank you, Eddie Lynn Davis
Sponsor Remarks: This family enumerated on the
Runnels County 1880 census, page 625, family
#75, James, youngest of eight children listed for James and
Martha.
