Jack Vinyard rites WednesdayJack Vinyard, 61, of Christoval, died at St. Johns Hospital at 6 a.m. Monday after a lengthy illness. Servcies will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Johnsons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Martin, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Christoval, officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at Winters Cemetery under direction of Johnsons Funeral Home. Mr. Vinyard was born May 14, 1910, at Crews and had been a resident of Christoval five years. He was a retired stock farmer and owner and manager of the Live Oaks Court at Christoval. He was married to Ella McIntosh Nov. 25, 1952, in Raton, N.M. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter(snip); a son(snip); three stepdaughters(snip); seven stepsons(snip); two sisters, Mrs Eula Vinyard Smith of El Paso and Mrs. Myrtle Allen of Lamesa; his mother, Mrs. Zula Marshall of Lamesa; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. |
