Funeral Rites For Miss Flora Reese Friday Afternoon

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p. m. Friday afternoon at the First Baptist Church for Miss Flora Geneva Reese, who died in Winters Municipal Hospital at 2:15 a.m. Thursday following an illness of several years.

The Rev. B. T. Shoemake, pastor of the church, will officiate assisted by the Rev. W. T. Jones of Abilene. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery.

Miss Flora Geneva Reese was born in Carbon in Eastland County.After receiving her teaching certificate, she taught school in Stonewall, Eastland and Dickens Counties. She then went to Dallas where she received her nursing training at the Parkland Hospital. She came to Runnels County where she was administrator of the Winters Municipal Hospital for several years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers (snip) and 4 sisters (snip)

Pallbearers will be R. T. Jones, Ed Alexander and Alfred Perry, all of Sweetwater; Milton Zetzman, Dock Anderson of Abilene and John E. McAdoo of Winters
