This Cemetery was surveyed by two of our members at two different times -- in February and March 1974.
What is being printed is the combined effort of both members. The name of the cemetery seems to have two
possible spellings -- the one in the title and BROOKSHIER. It is located one mile south of the intersection of
Texas Farm Road #2333 and #3115 on Farm Road #2333. The first survey was made Feb. 24, 1974 by
Mrs. Mike Lomas and her mother Mrs. T. M. Wylie and the second was made on Mar. 13, 1974 by
Mr. Frank D. Jenkins of Ballinger, Tex.

There are at least fifty unmarked graves in this cemetery.

NOTE: CATHRAN was the spelling found by Mrs. Lomas; Mr. Jenkins found the name to be COTHRAN.
