Lafayette married in Kaufman Co 18 Dec 1866 to Virginia Vincent "Jenny" Wade who was the daughter of Phoebe Utley Wade & Vincent Anderson Wade, two other early Kaufman County pioneers. (**See their own pages)

     He died 12 Nov 1887 & is buried in Kaufman City Cemetery next to his wife & parents.
