GANG OF TRANSVESTITES IN THE THICKET?

Forney, Texas, Aug. 12. -- Quite a good deal of excitement has been caused here this week by the rumor of the appearance in the thicket near the oil mill [under construction] of men dressed in women's clothes.  It is said that they have been seen repeatedly for three or four days.  Wednesday morning Luther Kincaid, a little boy living in North Forney, was walking near the thicket and discovered the men asleep.  While he stood looking at them one member of the gang awoke and told him that little boys did not belong there and he would get into trouble if he did not skidoo.  Luther promptly skidooed to town and reported to City Marshall Crawford, who immedately went to the scene but the fellows had skipped.  For the past three nights Mr. Crawford and his men have kept up a diligent search but no trace of them has again been found.
