San Antonio The State Comptroller has received tax rolls from the following counties, showing increase over last year as follows: Dallas county, $135,531; Oldham, $36,170; Kaufman, $180, 857; Navarro, $51,981; Jackson, $136,302. Decreases, Stonewall, $166,940; Borden, $68,321. . . . The statement is made in the New York papers that E. H. R. Green, president of the Texas Midland Railroad, and chairman of the Republican State Committee, will remove to New York. He is a son of Hetty Green, the richest woman of America. |
