The Kaufman Sun was in production from 1880 until after 1910. For more than thirty years the residents of Kaufman Texas relied on the newspaper for their reading needs. It offered serial stories,
personal notes on community births, deaths and marriages, political news-local, state and national, jusicial and court notices, agricultural and market information and advertisements for local businesses.
