Are Held
In Chapel

Mrs. Anna Mae Hunt, 405 North Virginia St., died in a Dallas Hospital Wednesday following an illness fo several days.  Funeral Services were held from the Anderson Clayton Chapel in Terrell at 2 p. m., Friday with Mr. Guss Farmer officiating.  Interment was in Oakland Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hunt was born in Pontotoc County, Mississippi on March 25, 1896.  She grew up there and came to Terrell as a young girl.  She was graduated from the Terrell Public Schools and received her teacher's certificate from North Texas State in Denton.  She taught in the Red Oak and Independence Hall schools of this area for a number of years and also taught in the Ed Couch, Texas schools until her retirement about five years ago.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was married to Henry Clark Hunt in 1932.  Her husband preceded her in death on May 23, 1940, and she is survived by:  one son, H.C. Hunt of Santa Monica, California;  three grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Cornelius and Clarence Cornelius both of New Albany, Mississippi; and one sister, Ruby Hogue of New Albany.
