JOHNSON CATO who died at the home of her daughter Mrs. W.E. TAFT,
near Midway Texas, April 10, 1900. She was born Nov. 25, 1828 in Alabama.
She first married Henry JOHNSON Oct. 7, 1847.

Looking for ancestors of Kittie Clyde GARNER
b. 16 Aug 1877 in Forney, Kaufman Co, Tx d. 15 Aug 1966 in Jefferson
Co, TX but was buried in Garner family plot in Forney. Her father
was a John GARNER and she married a George C. WHITEHURST in 1899
and then later a WALLACE in 1952.
Would also like to know whereabouts of Garner
family burial plot in Forney.

I am looking for any guide to the cemeteries
of Kaufman County to aid in finding the burial place of my Great-Grandfather
John Park CARDEN who, with his family, lived in Mabank, TX, located
as it appears on the map in the far southeast corner of the county.
My father, Johnnie N. Carden was born in East Texas in 1910, and his father
Roy Brown Carden came to East Texas with his father, John Park Carden,
around 1902. My father often talked about Mabank. I can only surmise
that John Park Carden is buried there. John Park Carden's wife,
Nancy Elizabeth (BROWN) CARDEN, died in 1899 in Tennessee. Roy Brown
Carden married Belle HARRIS in 1908, but where I do not know.

William ELLIOTT, son of John Elliott, was b.
NC c 1815-1816. Lived in Kaufman Co. from c 1850 til his death (date
not known). Would like to correspond with any of his descendants.
Had son named Madison Leroy Elliott who had many children. Believe he
lived in West Texas. Wm. had daughter also named Margaret, who might
have descendants still living in Kaufman Co.

From what I have been told, my grandmother Virginia
Mollie Inez OWENS (b. abt. 1919) was born in Rockwall, Texas.
I'm still trying to get her birth certificate, not having much luck so
far. She had several siblings Isabelle, Violetta, Ruth, Samual B.,
J.B., Paul, and two others (name unknown). As far as I know, they are
all around this area. She (Virginia) later married Raymond Edward CAMPBELL
and had two sons, Billy Ray Campbell and Ron CAMPBELL (b. 1940 and
1946 respectively.). I'm looking to share aand/or find any info
about my ancestors. Appreciate all those who can help me.

I am looking for information on Myrtle Mae VESS
she was born and raised in Kaufman county she married a Ezell WALLACE
on Novemeber 17, 1909 they had five children. Little is know about
either of the couples parents. The family lore is that Myrtle dad ran away
from home after his father remarried after the death of his mother. He
hid in the forest and was found by the indians, they were going to sell
him
as slave labour. But the chief's daughter fell in love with him
and they were married.
There were 5 kids from this marriage Myrtle mother died when she
was 13 years old. I
