The following Quote is from the book "Texas Boys In Gray" by Evault Boswell, Page 10
C W (Victor) Reinhardt of Terrell may very well be the most wounded man in the war; and the "etc." at the end of his list of wounds makes you wonder if there were others:
".was wounded in the head at Shiloh; in the ankle at Murfreesboro; in the eye at Missionary Ridge; in the belt buckle at Chickamauga; in the knee at Resaca; in the right leg at Atlanta; in the left arm by sword at Franklin; head and shoulders with gun butt; pinched with bayonet, etc.. I never missed a march, skirmish, battle or any other movement my regiment was in. Was never in the hospital, except the field hospital for emergency operation or treatment."
**Victor Reinhardt served in Co C 25th Alabama Infantry
