Mrs. Mooneyham Passes at Kemp

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Florence Mooneyham were conducted at Kemp Friday afternoon of last week at 4 o'clock with the Rev. J. Buell officiating. Interment was made at the Kemp Cemetery.

Mrs. Mooneyham, a resident of Kemp for fifty years, died at her home there at an early hour Thursday. She was a native of Jackson, Mssissippi, and the date of her birth was Dec. 25, 1874. She came to Texas as a young girl, living first in Navarro County and later at Kemp.

She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Her marriage to Thomas Carter Mooneyham took place in November of 1892 and eight children were born. Her husband died on August 18th of this year.

Surviving are two sons, Roy and Jess Mooneyham of Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. Bill Belcher and Mrs. Sam Allen of Kemp and Mrs. Walter Dalton of Dallas; fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren; a brother Ausin Griffin of Rosser, and two sisters, Mrs. J. P. Easterly and Mrs. Walter Shelton, both of Kemp.
