Last Rites Held For F. H. Jones

Funeral services for Frank Hamilton Jones were held at the Elm Grove church on Wednesday of last week with the Revs. Willard Thompson, R. B. Brunson and A. F. Cruse officiating. Burial was in the Elm Grove Cemetery, with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Henry Eubank & Son Funeral Home of Mabank.

Mr. Jones, a native of Scott County, Virginia, had spent most of his life in the Prarieville community where he passed away on Tuesday of last week following an illness of several months.

He was married to Miss Dora Bellamy on Sept. 25, 1904. Among the survivors are his wife, one son, Roy Jones of Dallas; four daughters, Mrs. Virgie Warren of Stockton, California, and Mrs. Myrtle Payne, Mrs. Elsie Shelton, and Mrs. Oleta Cranshaw, all of Dallas; three brothers, N. I. Jones of Mabank, Oliver Jones of Prairieville, and William Jones of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Jo Ann Fitz of Quanah, Texas, and Mrs. Ellen Shelton of Dallas; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
