Hale Services Slated Today

Mrs. Laura B. Hale, (nee McMahan),age 72, a resident of Dallas, died there Sunday evening, 24 Nov. 1963.

Funeral services were to be held from the Anderson-Clayton Chapel in Terrell at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Bob Metzger and the Rev. William Greenhaw officiating.

Interment will be Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell.

Laura Belle Hale was born in Rockwall County, Tx. on November 14, 1891.  She grew up in that area and later moved to Kaufman County and to the Colquitt Community where she lived until moving to Dallas 34 years ago.  She married Shadrick C. Hale on July 17, 1904, and to this union 6 children were born.  Her husband preceded her in death and she is survived by 3 sons: William C. Hale of Euless, Tx.; Bob Hale of Irving, Tx.; Ted Hale of Los Angeles, California.

Three daughters: Mrs. Kathryn Hodges of Richardson, Tx.; Mrs. Charlesty Myrtle Seal of Jackson, Mississippi; and Mrs. Mattie Belle Skinner of Lakewood, California..

Also survived by a sister, Lucy Jarvis of Dallas, Tx. 8 Grandchilren, and 12 Great Grandchildren .
