LYNCHED BY A MOB.
Kaufman, Texas, July 26.--
A mob of men took Crawford Benson, a negro boy 18 years old, from the county jail at 11 o'clock last night and hanged him, afterward riddling the body with bullets. The boy had committed an assault on a 9-year-old girl.
