These are two articles from unknown newspapers regarding the marriages of Albert Sidney Spillman, my g-grandfather's youngest sibbling.  He was first married in 1901 to Leah McChristy, and the article indicated the town of HOUSLEY.  I have no idea where Housley is.  Heath is mentioned in this article, but I couldn't find a marriage for them on the Rockwall Co. nor the Kaufman webpages.

Leah died in 1904, and Albert later married Lola Yates in Crandall.

Orange Blossoms.

Housley, June 10 [1901]. - Yesterday about 9 p.m., in the Baptist church at Heath, Mr. Albert Spillman, of Housley, and Miss Leah L. McChristy, of Heath, were married.  Rev. Dr. Anderson of Garland, performed the ceremony, in the presence of a large and fashionable audience.

The match is a good one.  Both are domestic economists, artistic musicians, strict church members, etc.  The groom is a good farmer, the bride a literary teacher.  Tomorrow the couple will be received at the home of their parents, Grandpa and Grandma Spillman, after which amid showers of congratulations, they will begin housekeeping as highly appreciated citizens of Housley.

SPILLMAN-YATES

On January 2, at 3:30 p.m., in the beautiful new church at Crandall, Rev. Albert Sidney Spillman and Miss Lola Mohe Yates were united in marriage by Rev. J. S. Elliott, of Forney.  The bride is the daughter of Deacon W. E. Yates and wife of Crandall, beautiful and accomplished.  The groom is a young preacher of promise at Forney, pure in life, sincere in thought and action, intellectual and sound in the faith.  They will make their home at Forney.  A large congregation of appreciative friends and relatives witnessed the solemn rites.  May their pathway be strewn with flowers and pleasure and may the churches use Brother Spillman for the glory of God.
