Wanted: Kaufman County Marriages from 1856The Marriage book from 1856 has been missing from the courthouse for a long time. Kathey Hunt and Linda Harwell would like to include those missing from 1856 in these pages. They have a few marriages in January 1856 and some in November & December of that year, but all the others are missing. If you have a copy of an 1856 Kaufman County Marriage Certificate, please scan it and send it via e-mail to Linda Harwell hotwheels.1943 @ yahoo.com so that it can be added to the list. Marriages which are not proven to have been in Kaufman County in 1856 through a copy of a certificate cannot be included in this list. However, if you would like to submit a Bible record from 1856, you are more than welcome to add it to Kaufman County Bible Records.
