William Hugh McDougald was the son of Archibald Black McDougald and Nepsie Buie.  He was born December 24, 1855 and died in 1950, both in Kaufman County, Texas.  He is also buried in the Shiloh Cemetery.  It is my understanding through research I have done that William donated the land for the Shiloh Cemetery.

Sarah Ledbetter Allen McDougald was the daughter of Buckner H. Ledbetter and Suzanna C. Jackson.  She was born on October 2, 1855 in Overton County, Tennessee.  She died October 22, 1951 in Kaufman County, Texas.  She married William Hugh McDougald on June 1, 1890 in Kaufman County, Texas.  She is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery.
