My Gr-Gr-Grandfather and his wife are buried in the Pleasant Springs cemetery.  This is a picture of Augusta Fulton Dahn and his wife Rebecca (Brummitt) Dahn and three of their boys.  The one son that has his arm on his Mother is George Washington Dahn.  He is my Gr-Grandfather.  He was born 27 Jan. 1880 in Forney and died 3 Oct. 1953 and is buried in Van Zandt Texas.

This is information that has been told to me by family.  I wanted to post it in case someone is looking for the same Dahns in Texas.

Augusta F. Dahn, b. 28 Apr. 1831 in Germany, d. 1 Nov. 1898 in Forney Texas.  He is buried in the Pleasant Springs cemetery in Kaufman co. Texas.  It is said that a team of horses ran away and he was killed.  That is all I was told by his daughter-in-law.

Rebecca Dahn b. 14 Dec. 1841 in Germany, d. 1903 in Forney Texas.  She is buried in the Pleasant Springs cemetery in Kaufman co Texas.

George Washington Dhane, b 27 Jan. 1880 in Forney Texas d 3 Oct. 1953 in Witchia falls Texas.  His name is spelled different because when he was a child in school, this is the way his teacher taught him to spell his last name.  He married Mandy (Amanda Hogue) b. 19 Apr. 1883 in White Wright Texas, d 26 Dec. 1950 in Sherman Texas.  They are buried in Van Zandt co.
