On September 1, 1893, Burr I. Cockrell (2nd from right) purchased one-half interest in the grocery business operated by F. M. George in Terrell, TX . In January, 1903, he purchased Mr. George´s interest. The following year he sold J. H. Cockrell, his youngest brother, an interest in this business. At a later date he opened a business at 109 West Moore Avenue, Terrell, TX where he remained in business until his retirement. |
