These are pictures of my ggg grandparents, Samuel Sylvester Beeman and his wife Mary Ann "Smelser" Beeman. They were married 19 December 1816 in Madison Co., IL. He lived in Kaufman Co. from abt 1865 until his death in 1875. They are in the 1870 Kaufman Co., Census. Mary Ann "Smelser" Beeman is in the 1880 Forney, Kaufman census living with her son Peter C.
