The new courthouse is progressing rapidly. We have front duy to watched the progress of this work with great gratification. It has caused new life to be imparted to every one. It will be the peculiar pride of Kaufman county to have the best courthouse in the District. All honor is due Jim Brown, the contractor, for the skill and dispatch with which he is pushing the work ahead. Himself and three other hands are all constantly engaged. In the selection of hands, Mr. B. has been particularly fortunate. They are steady, faithful and well skilled, and may well be denominated master workmen.--[Kaufman Star. |
