This information, which includes scanned files of the original typescript from the Bible and a typed copy that I have prepared from the original typescript, is from the Robert Adams Terrell and Emily Love Terrell family Bible. The original typescript of the record was made by Nina Celeste (Bedinger) Askew, my aunt and a great-granddaughter of Robert Adams Terrell. I inspected the Bible in the home of Celeste Askew, in Forney, about 1970. After her death I presume the Bible went to either her daughter, Gwendolyn Ann (Askew) Bullard or her son John Terrell Askew. The note at the end of the record indicates that much of the information was recorded in 1913 at the Terrell family reunion at Royse, Texas. A photograph of the Terrell family at the 1913 Terrell family reunion is given in the Centennial Edition of the Terrell Tribune, April 24, 1973. I am sending scanned files of the original typescript from the bible and a Word file that I have prepared from the original typescript. M. S. Doug Bedinger |
