These pages are from my great, great, grandfather Albert A. Barkers family
bible. I am descended from Carrie Barker. They are buried in the family plot
in Scurry. His father was Lemuel Barker who has the oldest marker in the
cemetary.
Narrative on picture #1 are as follows:
1. A. A. Barker was born Nov 25th A.D. 1846
2. Lucindia Barker Was Born Jan 31 A D 1844
3. George F. Barker Was Born Oct ??? 30 ??? 1869 (Our records reflect his
actual birthday as May 30, 1869)
4. Margaret F Barker Was Born Sept the 26, A D 1871
5. Martha J. Barker Was Borned August the 21 A D 1874 (She helped raise my
grandmother, Lilly Gillaspie Jones after the death of Carrie Barker in 1904)

1. Carrie M. Barker Was Borned November the 12 1876 (My Great Grandmother)
2. Albert F Barker Was Borned December 28, 1878
3. Lemuel M. Barker Was Borned April The 6 1881. (He died at the age of one)
