Know we men by these presents, that J. John Butler of Texas of the first part and Solomon Fletcher of the State and county aforesaid of the second part - Witnesseth that the said John Butler for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty Dollars to him in hand paid by said Solomon Fletcher. The receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold aliened and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Solomon Fletcher the described tract or piece of land as follows in Kauf.

described tract a piece of land as follows in Kaufman county and State of Texas. Bounded as follows
Beginning at the South E. corner of F.F. Boydston survey thence E. to the first ravine. Thence N. W. with said Ravine to B.F. Boydstons. East line running North and South thence South with said line to the place of begging supposed to be Twelve acres. Together with all and singlular the rights that I have in and to the same and that of my heirs and legal representatives for ever unto him the said Soloman Fletcher and his heirs and assigns forever here by warranting and defending he right to the same making their deed of conveyance equal in all respects as the right vested in me by Law donating the same. In witness whereof the said John Butler has hereunto set his hand and seal this June 10th A.D. 1859.

Before me the undersigned authority this day personally appeared John Butler to me well know who acknowled that he signed sealed executed the within and foregoing and to Soloman Fletcher for the purposes and considerations there in set forth and expressed.
