54 Students Expected to
Win Diplomas on May 29
Fifty-four seniors, 27 boys and 27 girls, are candidates for graduation at commencement exercises here May 29, it was announced here Monday. Dr. C. E. Evans, president of the Southwest Texas State Teachers college at San Marcos, has been announced by Supt. O. P. Norman as the commencement speaker.
The list of candidates includes three students who completed their courses in January. These are Clarke (Chigger) Webb, Jim Copeland and Allene Benson.
