Blackland and other cemeteries in Kaufman County are in need of help!  By Texas law, the county is supposed to clean EVERY Cemetery that does not have perpetual maintenance at least once a year but they have not done so.  If you would like to help get something done about this, please write a letter to the local newspaper editors voicing your concerns; be sure to state that the Law in Texas is that the County's will clean these places once a year.  Letters can be sent to:
