History: The land was deeded for use as a cemetery by Dr. Daniel A Paschall. Condition: Bad - the area is used as a dumping place for old furniture, garbage and automobile parts. The old brick tomb has had a hole knocked into its arched roof by vandals and most of the tombstones have either been turned over or broken off their bases. Some markers appear to have been chipped up by some type of implement and the pieces are scattered across the burial site. The entire area is overgrown in brambles and briars. There are 3 large tombstone bases which are turned over in the cemetery and 4 sites marked by bricks made like those on the tomb. Also there are 3 small markers broken off at the base and several pieces of gray granite piled near a tree. The entire area is grown over in iris. UPDATE - January 2003 - the area was cleaned in late 2002 by a local boy scout troop and is in much better shape.EnumerationBrick above-ground tomb appx: 8" long & 5' wide.
