tortillas in Kaufman the early 1900's & in the 1920's opened
a small restauarant on the south side of Kaufman - from there
they moved to Terrell in 1930's Dallas. Within 40 years they built
a multi-million dollar Mexican Restaurant chain! EL

- Hetty Green owned the Texas-Midland RR that ran thru Kaufman County from
north to south - their offices were located in Terrell. She was the wealthiest woman in America! Her son E. H. R. Green lived in Terrell.
