Henry EVANS and Mary Rebecca (HEFLIN) EVANS, picture taken late 1800's. Henry was the son of William George EVANS and Susan James OWEN(S) of GA and Mary Rebecca was the daughter of David Green HEFLIN and Mary Ann HESTER of GA and Cherokee County, TX. They lived in or near Iredell from the late 1860's until about 1887, raising a family of 11 surviving children.
